There is a non-religious basis for universal principles of morality. Whether or not you believe that it was endowed by a creator, all persons who are not psychopathic have a conscience.
Voting is a right.
Scientology is not a religion. It's a scam. L. Ron Hubbard suggested calling it a religion when government was coming down on it for fraud.
The government should not ban books it deems inappropriate in public schools and libraries.
The supply side of the drug trade should have a higher priority in America's War on Drugs.
Morality and religion should play a role in public policymaking only in a general sense of universal good or bad. I think religion has been an excuse for a great many immoral decisions. We should discuss a morality that is self-evident and not the result of exegesis.
Drugs should be legalized.
Marijuana for medicinal use should be legalized. In the very least.
There is no convincing evidence that a higher being exists.
Law enforcement officials should not carry taser guns. Although if misuse meant that they would definitely be sentenced to be on the receiving end, I'd be all about it.
Marijuana should be legal. it's safer than alcohol
