Emotions are contagious. Movie theaters are a great place to experience this.
Human cloning should not be allowed. We're not yet ready for human cloning, not when there are so many outstanding concerns with genetic advancements in other areas. One would assume the individuals so created beseiged by intellectual property squabbles, the individuals so cloned bereft of c
NASA should complete construction of the International Space Station.
The U.S. should invest more in its space program. Letting the Russians take the lead in orbital missions is a serious oversight. The benefit of the space race in developing new technology should be obvious. We should remain competitive as we cooperate.
Patents should not be issued for living organisms. While obviously an offense to uniqueness, to be a living thing owned for its code, there are other harms to the environment and the economy. For example, this allows patent holders to wipe out poor farmers as crops naturally hybridize.
Scientists should pursue embryonic stem cell research. Even Nancy Reagan says so. It's not a big deal to see how we can grow undifferentiated cells.
The U.S. should not build more nuclear power plants. The United States is still not ready for nuclear power, because it has shown a complete inability to self-regulate. See the banking meltdown? Well I remember what a real meltdown is like: Three Mile Island.
