The Fairness Doctrine should be reinstated.

The federal government should regulate violence on television. The Government grants network TV the license to broadcast in The U.S. Movies have 'ratings', so TV violence ( with the exception of news ) should be curbed so as not to unduly influence children or weak minded adults.
Television news should not entertain as well as inform. I think we have Sit-Coms etc. for that.
