Opinions
Humans will travel faster than the speed of light. I think so, but I'm not sure it will be something I will experience in this life time.
Humans will make contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life. But not if we don't get our own act together. Intelligent life seeks out and contacts other intelligent life and that would not be a description I would apply to the human race at this time. :-)
The Large Hadron Collider will discover the existence of unknown particles.
Viruses are alive. Just use government as an example...
Humans should colonize the moon.
Human cloning should be allowed. But only in the case that the current consciousness of a person being cloned can be transferred as well.
Ghosts do exist. Residual energy produced by individuals that were unable to release it before death.
The U.S. should invest more in its space program. However not through taxation.
Congress should fund NASA's program to track potentially hazardous asteroids and comets. Now that is one truthful threat to national security.
Animal cloning should be allowed.
Psychologists should not be able to prescribe medication.
Theories that no conceivable experiment can confirm should not be rejected outright.
It should be legal for scientists to develop genetically modified human embryos.
Patents should not be issued for living organisms.
The Earth is several billion years old.
Environmental factors have a greater influence on human behavior than innate qualities. The environment really determines how we react with our innate qualities. If we are in a combative fearful environment we would act much different than we would on a peaceful beach in Tahiti sipping on a Mi Tie.
There is intelligent life on other planets. If there isn't, it sure seems like a huge waste of space..
Saving existing life is more important than protecting potential life. How about both?
Humans will one day travel through time. They already do.
Doctors and researchers should decide whether embryonic stem cells may be used for medical research.
NASA should focus on manned space flight. Time to look somewhere else
There are no legitimate, scientific, and peer-reviewed "alternatives" to evolution.
Emotions are contagious. Emotions can be extremely contagious.
The Universe is expanding. For some people it isn't, that's for sure.
The use of nuclear weapons cannot be justified. Not ever...are you crazy?
NASA should complete construction of the International Space Station. Space the second to the last frontier! Spiritual understanding is the final frontier.
Human beings are still evolving. In what direction I'm not sure...
The US should not intervene with nuclear programs in other countries.
The U.S. should not build more nuclear power plants. Government should give incentives to create new technology that empowers individuals, not grid based conglomerates.
Scientists should pursue embryonic stem cell research. With no government involvement beyond making sure anything deleloped is safe for public consumption.
The federal government should not subsidize the creation of new stem cell lines. It is not the Job of the Government to do any research on stem cell development. At most, setting up guidelines for best possible approach to the research and making it public is as far as it should go.
Environmental factors have a greater influence on human behavior than innate qualities. The environment really determines how we react with our innate qualities. If we are in a combative fearful environment we would act much different than we would on a peaceful beach in Tahiti sipping on a Mi Tie.
