Animal cloning should not be allowed. I have long wrestled with this, but I have come to believe that the cloning of animals will inevitably lead to the cloning of human beings.
The shape of the Earth is round. What the Hell is this?
Estimating the age of the Earth is not possible. It could indeed (and likely is) billions, but we can never know the Earth's exact age.
There are legitimate, scientific, and peer-reviewed "alternatives" to evolution. There are...but the difficulty is getting these voices heard in the mainstream. The scientific establishment has done something that isn't supposed to be done to any scientific theory-they have politicized evolution to the point that dissent from the esta
Human beings are not still evolving. Evolving into what?
The Universe is expanding.
A belief in natural selection does not require a belief in evolution.
Humans will not make contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life. At least not in our lifetime or our childrens' lifetimes.
Scientists should not pursue embryonic stem cell research.
The federal government should not subsidize the creation of new stem cell lines. These stem-cell lines can only be created if more embryos are killed with that purpose in mind. A "Brave New World" type of exercise could come some day in the relatively near future where embryos are created in the lab for the express purpose of harvesti
Adult stem cells have the same medical potential as embryonic stem cells. There is much scientific evidence to prove that this is the case.
The U.S. should build more nuclear power plants. Here is a source of clean, available energy. If we do not avail ourselves of it, we will continue to have problems with our electrical grid.
NASA should not complete construction of the International Space Station. This is really not a needed project.
NASA should focus on manned space flight. That was the purpose of NASA to begin with
It should be illegal for scientists to develop genetically modified human embryos. This is too much of an ethical slippery slope.
Human cloning should not be allowed. This is a terrible ethical slippery slope.
The US should intervene with nuclear programs in other countries. It really depends on the circumstances
