It is acceptable for courses on the Bible to be taught in public schools.

As long as the students understand that's one way of looking at the world, and not the only way

I rate America's education system "Unsatisfactory."

Considering our economic power in the world, I don't think we should be satisfied with our educational system in general for the mass majority.

Teachers should not receive performance-based merit pay.

How do you measure a teacher's performance subjectively?

There should be a foreign language requirement in public schools.

In the global world we live in, it would be a shame not to prepare the future generation to work with others around the world.

Schools should not punish students for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

The beauty of this country is that one has the right to stand up for their beliefs, even if they are against the majority or considered "un-patriotic".

Abstinence-only sex education is not effective.

I think its crazy to think that just because we tell a teenager not to do something, that they will not try it. Especially with the availability of information today.

Race should not be a factor in the university admission process.

I don't buy the idea of race being a factor in university admission. I can understand financial situations being considered.

American schools should not offer bilingual classes for native Spanish-speakers.

I think it only empowers a person when they can speak more than 1 language.
