The U.S. is undergoing the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.

duh thats a no brainer. Its going to get alot worse before it gets a little bit better. The USA may never recover!

There should be a designated hitter in both leagues.

If the use of the dh continues, it should be used in both leagues. My opinion is it should not be in either league but if it is in the american league it should also be used in the national league.
