It is not appropriate for a sign that reads, "Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds" to appear on government property alongside religious displays. By itself, it wouldn't be a problem, but alongside a religous display, it's almost desecration.
Bill Clinton should not replace Hillary in the U.S. Senate. People need to understand that Bill and Hilary are not joined at the hip. They may be married, and they may have the same views, but they both have different ways of approaching and solving problems. Hillary has earned her spot in the U.S. Senate and sho
Staten Island should not secede from New York City. Come on now, does it REALLY need to be?
If they absolutely want to be here, they should want to go through a citizenship process.
Absolutely not! Many Presidents have done what he has done and have not been impeached (i.e. Hoover) He is doing what he thinks is best for the United States.
The legal voting age should not be lower than 18. 18 is the age of the beginning of adulthood. Choosing to make the legal age younger would be a bad decision, as I believe that many 16 year old are not politically aware enough and/or not mature enough.
Barack Obama is qualified to be President of the United States. He may have not enough experience and strange connections to strange people, but since his election, our country is finally showing hope for a brighter and greater future, and that's exactly what we need right now. God bless him.
Military experience is an important qualification for the presidency. It isn't exactly a must, but serving or showing interest in our country's military is definitely a sign of a true American hero -- fit for presidency. Buuut, let's not go overboard on our P.O.W. experiences. ;)
Puerto Rico is perfectly fine as a U.S. protectorate, not many issues. There shouldn't be change unless something is going wrong.
Pastor Rick Warren was a good choice to give the invocation at Barack Obama's inaugural. It was definitely a surprise, but a competent choice nonetheless.
Barack Obama should not offer Hillary Clinton the position of Secretary of State. Just...no.
Barack Obama receives more favorable press coverage than John McCain.
Sarah Palin will not withdraw from the Republican ticket. She's in for the long haul.
Obviously, we haven't had an attack since. I think that means someone over there in government is doing their job, right?
Soon enough our troops will be able to come home and peace will come to Iraq.
Sarah Palin is qualified to be the President of the United States. I would argue that she has just about the right experience that Obama has -- not much, but enough to make a difference and impact the world.
Georgia should become a member of NATO. As long as they comply to NATO's regulations and vow to be on our side, then, sure, why the heck not? It's more power to our side! =]
John McCain and Barack Obama should not suspend their campaigns until Congress passes a bailout plan. The current conflict on the economy should make the debates more interesting and bring out the real side to the prez candidates.
There's nothing wrong about accepting donations from minors. There are many under-18 people who are active and watching the turnout of our election. Although they may not be able to vote, they have the chance to support their favored candidate by donatin
Media coverage of Sarah Palin has been fair.
Barack Obama won the first 2008 presidential debate hosted by Jim Lehrer. It was a decent debate, no one was K.O.'d, but I think Obama took the cake for this one. His speech was impeccable, he was clear on his points, and he stayed polite throughout the entire debate. I enjoyed his style, as well.
John McCain is not exploiting his POW experience. I will agree that he has brought up this issue ten thousand times, but come on! That's like saying Obama is exploiting the color of his skin! We've all heard it... if we don't like Obama (which I do, I'm happy with whoever wins this election), they call u
