What is whereIstand.com?
whereIstand.com is a social network of opinions in which people can compare where they stand to anybody else on the site -- public figures, organizations, friends, family, and other members -- on a variety of issues and topics. All opinions, or 'stands', are organized and presented in a way that makes them searchable and comparable for anyone interested in gaining perspective on issues that are important to them.
About Public Figures and Organizations
Opinions of public figures and organizations are submitted by members of the whereIstand community. Members post evidence of public figure/organization opinion using information that is publicly-available on the internet. Opinion evidence remains pending until it its verification is voted on by at least six other whereIstand members.

Who is whereIstand.com?
whereIstand.com, Inc. is a privately owned and funded, New York based company with the mission of reliably presenting the opinions of every public figure, organization and member on every issue where they can be known in a structured and comparable way. The company was founded by President and CEO Nick Oliva and is located in SoHo in New York City. Chuck Zegar, one of the four founding partners of Bloomberg LP, is an investor of whereIstand.com, Inc. and currently serves on the company's Board of Directors.
