Promote Your Blog

*Accounts created for the purpose of promoting products or services instead of opinions will be deleted without notice.

whereIstand is a user-driven community of opinions on every issue in every language. Users can take stands, propose new issues for discussion, post evidence of opinions by public figures, or compare their stands to others.

whereIstand offers bloggers a unique opportunity to promote their content and target new readers. For instance, this member linked his blog to whereIstand content, analyzing the opinions of sportswriters and bloggers and found that ESPN experts were less accurate than bloggers on MLB predictive issues. We helped him promote his findings, which eventually got his blog linked on Salon, CNNSI and WSJ.com.

Register Your Blog

Sign-up for a free whereIstand account and include your blog's URL within your user profile. As soon as you publish a new entry, whereIstand will automatically add links to your content on our blogs page. As opposed to sites that offer to republish your entries, we're driving the traffic directly to your site!

Here's how to link an external blog to your profile:

1. Register a whereIstand username and verify your account information.

2. Go to your Settings page and click on the Add button under the "Sites" section.

3. Choose "blog" and enter your blog's URL.

4. After clicking Submit, you will be able to add the title of your blog and the RSS feed address.
(PLEASE NOTE: You must include the RSS feed location for your entries to appear on whereIstand.)

5. Paste the provided code onto the main page of your site, then click the Validate My Blog! button to confirm it's yours. A green check mark will appear confirming that whereIstand can find your blog.
