Gay marriage should be a state issue. Since some states are more progressive than others its seems the right thing to do.

The government should not regulate marriage.

The U.S. should not enact a constitutional amendment prohibiting the burning of the American flag.

A large portion of the nation's poor are victims of circumstances beyond their control.

References to God or religion should not be left out of U.S. Presidential Inaugurations. But it was a bit overdone this time around...
