Barack Obama will win the 2008 presidential election.
A presidential run in 2012 is not part of Hillary Clinton’s strategy. This is going to be one of those rare occasions where I agree with JZipp, but, given that she's $20m in debt and stopped her inappropriate character bashing that was destroying the unity of the party, I'm going to gamble on No.
President Bush will be a liability for John McCain in the general election. He's already a liability because they're paralleling his policies to Bush.
The United States and its allies will completely leave Iraq later than 2015. The US is going to leave a small military presence there no matter what. By seven years, we'll most likely have a base there. We may stop the war, but our presence will persist.
George W. Bush's comments to the Knesset were not appropriate. Non-partisan I think that the reason why it was inappropriate is because Israel's independence and being overseas isn't the proper venue for political advertisement. Bush should've been there to celebrate freedom; rehashing Hitler in front of Jewish peopl
The invasion would not have been justified if significant weapons of mass destruction had been subsequently discovered in Iraq. Osama bin Hussein.. Saddam Bin Laden.. darn I'm confused... wha?
There should not be term limits for elected officials. You can remove term limits and still have re-elections every x amount of years. That way if someone does poorly you can replace him, but if someone does well he or she is rewarded.
Ralph Nader will have no impact on the 2008 Presidential Election. Obama has the momentum.
There are not persuasive non-religious reasons for prohibiting abortions.
Personal accounts should be created for social security to put funds into the control of the individual contributor/beneficiaries. I guess I didn't really read all the possibilities thoroughly. When you think about it, SS being set up like insurance policies is a scam. Insurance hedges against risk. Meaning that it assumes that you don't always need it, and you put money into it in c
The U.S. should maintain trade relations with China. Negative actions do not bring about positive outcomes. With healthy trade relations you have more to bargain with on the table. If you really want to help those people, you need to go about it the right way. Telling someone they suck ass and to go die isn
President Clinton should not have been impeached. If George Bush is still Prez then they should've left Clinton alone.
The social security payroll tax should apply to annual income earned beyond $97,500.
The U.S. could not sustain a third war.
Mike Bloomberg will not run for President in 2008. A lot has been going around about him doing it, but I don't think he will. It's too late in the game and Obama has too much momentum.
Venezuela's socialist reforms will have a positive effect on Latin America.
A third-party candidate can win the Presidency. Anything is possible, right? However unlikely that is.
Endorsements do influence the outcome of elections.
National issues play a decisive role in congressional elections.
Candidates' personal lives should not play a role in campaigns.
The U.S. should allow online voting.
The National Do Not Call Registry should apply to automated political messages. Shouldn't leave anyone out.
The U.S. should be a member state of the U.N. US needs more supervision.
States should have the right to secede from the Union.
The U.S. should not have an official language.
President Bush has appointed people that are too ideologically to the right to be fair judges.
The government that governs least governs best.
Democracy is not advancing in the world.
The UN should employ private contractors for humanitarian missions.
The U.N. is not effective.
Vice President Dick Cheney should be impeached.
President George W. Bush will not be impeached.
The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act has not been effective in combating terrorism. ha ha ha.
The NSA surveillance program is not constitutional.
Denying or trivializing the Holocaust should not be criminalized. Criminalized? That's like making the "N" word illegal.
The current generation of electronic voting machines is sufficiently secure, reliable and comprehensible to ensure that votes will be counted properly. The machines I'm sure are secure. The people managing them are the ones I question.
People convicted of felonies should have voting rights.
"None of the Above; For a New Election" should be an option on the ballot. Sure why not
Voters should be required to show identification in order to vote.
Voters should be permitted to register and vote on Election Day. As long as it's valid, yeah.
