The arrest of Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was justified.
Racial profiling by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was a factor in his arrest.
Roman Polanski should be extradited to the U.S.
Gay public figures do not have a responsibility to disclose their sexual orientation. What a person does in their private life needs to remain private. I don't want to know, nor need to know what goes on in the bedroom... As soon as you disclose your habits, all bets are off (regardless of your "orientation"). I don't tolerate a hetero's t
Government funds should be used for religious purposes.
Children's media should not portray same-sex parents.
No legal rights should be available for same-sex couples. They already have legal actions that can be setup to protect/distribute assets gained from the relationship. This is all about making same sex attraction a "normal" behavior and an acceptable way of life. Its a lifestyle choice that shouldn't be afforded
Government funding should be available to religious organizations for the purpose of performing a social good. I would say that most religious organizations do a better job of providing for the needs of the less fortunate than the government can. Allowing public monies to go to those organizations that do a better job is spending our tax dollars efficiently.
African Americans should not receive reparations for slavery. This issue happened over 5 generations ago (147 years). Few can trace their heritage back to either the slave, the owner, or the trader...
Freedom from discrimination based on sexual orientation should not be considered a civil right.
The Texas government should not have removed the children from their families at the polygamist ranch. Government overreach at its worst
Spanking should be used as a disciplinary technique. There are some instances where spanking is the only recourse to get the childs attention. Leave that decision to the parent not the some nanny governmental agency
The people in the US have the right to freely choose and practice a religion or to have no religion at all. This is a founding tenet of the United States of America and is also part of LDS doctrine: Our 11th Article of Faith states: We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same priv
Mormons are Christian. Yes we are very much Christian!
The United States should not issue a formal apology for slavery. We in the U.S. fought a war to end slavery in this country over 147 years ago, what more of an apology do you want? I am convinced that those who want this are looking for excuses for their failures in life, versus standing up and getting on with life.
An atheist cannot be spiritual. Such an oxymoron - a spiritual atheist.
There are circumstances under which I support capital punishment. Those found guilty of murder in a court of law the death penalty should apply. All to often, those who are convicted of grievous crimes (multple murder, rapes) are let back into society to commit crimes again. Applying the death penalty prevents this.
Marriage should be defined as a union between one man and one woman. Marriage as defined by society has always been between a man and a woman. It is the norm. To change it because of some percieved slight is wrong. Someone who is attracted to the same sexs has the same right to marry someone of the opposite sex as I do. Se
Free will does exist. We are free to choose how will life our lifes - However, we are not free to choose the consiquences of our choices.
The Constitution should be amended to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman. The normal human condition is for reproduction and rearing children - the best a society has to offer said chilren is a mother and a father, it is a duty for society to protect that ideal, not water it down with what ever feels good at the time.
