Onscreen smoking should not be a factor in MPAA ratings. As apposed to theft, murder, random acts of sex, sexual harrasment, assualt, and actually any other law violation, Oh what about speeding and evassion, running a stop sign. Is my point taken. At least all those are illegal.
Music piracy has a negative effect on the music industry. It is the responsability of the music industry to keep up with technology in protecting their product from theft. Not the Government. Target does not get special free security from the local PD if their theft deterant devices are not working. There is no difference.
Consumers should have the option to purchase cable TV channels individually. Good idea again not a topic of discussion for a government forum. That is a marketing and free market idea. No place for the goverment in that question.
The government should withdraw funding for art it considers offensive. How about withdraw all funding for art I like that better. Regardless of content. Sell it or starve it's called capitolism.
