whereIstand.com is a social network where the opinions of members, public figures, and organizations - on any issue - are presented in a structured, searchable, and comparable manner. Members can express opinions on any issue and in any topic of interest. As members build their opinion profiles - through the take a stand function - whereIstand enables people to easily compare how often they agree and disagree on common issues.

About Public Figures and Organizations
Opinions of public figures and organizations aren't submitted by the primary source. Rather, opinions are posted as evidence by other whereIstand members using information that is publicly-available on the internet. Once posted, evidence of an opinon is voted on by other members to ensure it is reliable and representative.
