Derek Jeter is not overrated. Hard to say he is overrated with the year he is having.
Adrian Peterson should be the first running back chosen in 2009 fantasy football drafts.
I like running on a treadmill. Watching TV while I am running makes the time pass faster.
I like running as a form of exercise. I don't love it when I am doing it, but it is good for me and I feel great after I am done.
Olympic athletes should not be discouraged from speaking out about political issues.
Players named in the Mitchell Report should be penalized.
It is appropriate for network television to broadcast mixed martial arts fights.
LeBron James should leave the Cleveland Cavaliers when his contract expires in 2010. Since he will max out no matter what, the contract won't be the deciding factor, but there will be much better opportunities for outside income in a place like New York.
Trophy hunting should be illegal. To kill an animal for sport is disgusting and should be illegal. There are many other ways to entertain oneself besides killing something in nature. I always laugh when they call these nuts "outdoorsmen" as all they do is seek to destroy nature.
Michael Vick should not be banned from the NFL. What he did was disgusting and criminal, but he paid his price to society. I am sick and tired of all these people saying that it is a privilege to play in the NFL. Just about every single player suffers some sort of constant pain for the rest of their life. They sacrifice their bodies for our entertainment, so Vick should be able to earn a living by playing in the NFL if he wants to return.
The NFL should allow Michael Vick to play in the 2009 season. What he did was disgusting an inhumane, but he served his time and it cost him alot of money. He should be allowed to play in the NFL again, but kept on a short leash.
Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the NBA's greatest center of all time.
The NFL should not consider playing the Super Bowl outside of the U.S. This is an American event and American people care the most about it.
The overall effects of running are beneficial. Although the elliptical machine provides the same cardio benefits without the pounding on the body.
The New York Yankees would not be better off without Alex Rodriguez. They are a .500 team without him. How can anyone say they are better off with Cody Ransom, Ramiro Pena, or Angel Berroa at 3B?
The horse-racing industry should ban steroids.
Horse racing is not humane. We can find better ways for entertainment than drugging and racing horse until they collapse.
Atlanta Braves will win the 2009 NL East.
The Denver Broncos benefited the most from the Jay Cutler trade. The Broncos got a lot back in that trade and got rid of a crying baby.
The Denver Broncos should trade Jay Cutler. He is acting like a little baby. This is a business, would the Broncos have been offended if he was a free agent and entertained an offer from another team? Grow up Jay. Can you imagine this baby playing in the New York spotlight?
University of Louisville will advance the furthest of all top seeds in the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Title IX should not apply to college sports.
Car racing is not a sport.
Big East Conference will have the most wins in the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. Best conference this year by far.
Chicago Cubs will win the 2009 NL Central. could be the year the longest drought in sports history comes to an end.
Cleveland Indians will win the 2009 AL Central. solved their closer issue with Kerry Wood and a solid offense.
Arizona Diamondbacks will win the 2009 NL West. good pitching and young offensive talent.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will win the 2009 AL West. Best team in a weak division.
New York Yankees will win the 2009 AL East. Even without ARoid early in the season, the starting pitchin is too strong.
The Division I NCAA Tournament should not be expanded to more than 65 teams.
Major League Baseball should not use instant replay to review umpires' decisions.
College football should institute a playoff system.
The NBA should not have minimum age requirements for players.
Fantasy sports leagues should not be required to pay licensing rights fees. I dont understand why the leagues would want to ruin something that the fans enjoy so much just for a few extra dollars. Besides anyone watching these games can compute the stats, they are right out there in the public domain.
The All-Star selection process is not fair. It is a popularity contest. every year deserving players get cheated. Let the players and managers vote.
Sideline reporters do not improve the quality of coverage of televised sporting events. sideline reporters and three person booths should be done away with.
Professional athletes should compete in the Olympics. For years every other country cheated by using Professionals. Canada and the US were the only ones that followed the rules. Letting anyone participate leveled the playing field and allows the best to compete.
The NBA should not increase its minimum age requirement. they should decrease it, if you are old enough to vote and fight in a war, you should be old enough to earn a living if your talent, dedication, and effort allows you to be at that level. Anyone with the talent to get paid as a pro should not play for free (actually to make others rich) in college.
NBA Basketball/NHL Hockey most effectively determines a deserving league champion. Baseball plays 162 regular season games and then decides a series based on 4 to 7 games? The first round is even worse as 3 to 5 games is the same as regular season series. Due to the nature of the games, Football has to be one game, but anyone can have an off day. proportioned to the regular season schedule the NBA and NHL seem the fairest, although they allow too many teams in the playoffs.
Internet poker should be legalized and regulated by the U.S. Federal Governement. It should be legal, but we dont need the federal government poking their greedy hands in another place where they dont belong.
