The New Yorker cover featuring Barack and Michelle Obama is effective satire.
Newspaper organizations are not necessary to maintain journalistic standards. What standards? Newspapers are so biased. The New York Times' motto should be "All the Liberals News that is fit to print"
Al Jazeera is not a credible news organization. Are you kidding me?
Fox News is not "fair and balanced." None of the networks are fair and balanced. I think there are more bias networks out there, MSNBC comes to mind.
The FCC should not strengthen indecency rules regarding broadcast television.
The FCC should relax its media ownership rules.
The Vanity Fair photos featuring Miley Cyrus were not appropriate.
Congress should not pass the Internet Radio Equality Act.
There should not be a blogger code of conduct. Please
Craigslist should remove its 'Erotic Services' listings. "Erotic Services" is another way of sayng "Prostitution", which exploits minors and women.
The Internet has had a positive effect on journalism. Now we don't have all of our news reported by completely biased TV networks and newspapers. It much easier to get all sides of an issue.
The New York Times' coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is pro-Palestinian. The Times picks a side on every issue and reports only positively for that side. The Paper has become a joke.
Newspapers should not be publicly financed. Just what we need more government influence on the news.
The media does not have a social responsibility to promote positive body images. Are you kidding me? Who made up that responsibility? Who decides what is a positive body image?
President Obama's Tonight Show appearance will have a negative effect on him politically. He looked like a buffoon with an insensitive attempt at humor and a clueless understanding of the mess this country is in.
It is not appropriate for the President of the United States to make appearances on late night talk shows. Seems like a President should be above a blatent attempt to appeal to people in an effort to deflect his failures.
Blogs have a positive effect on politics.
Political candidates should allow the media to interview their young children.
Websites should allow anonymous comments.
Rick Santelli's rant about President Obama's housing plan was appropriate. Why are people outraged when someone gives an opinion that contradicts this administration? Last time I checked this is still the USA.
Internet gambling should not be banned.
MSNBC is politically biased. They are a very liberal wing of the Democrat Party
Print newspapers will become obsolete.
Congress should not pass legislation to mandate network neutrality on the Internet.
The media is politically biased and generally leans to the Left.
The government should not provide financial assistance to the print journalism industry. Print journalism is a dying business, no amount of money will stop the inevitable.
The Fairness Doctrine should not be reinstated. This is just a ploy by Democrats to silence speech that they dont like. When the Fairness Doctrine was originally enacted in 1949 there were only a very limited number of media outlets, as there was no cable TV or internet. Today there are an unlimited number of venues for anyone to get their message out. For example, I can get my opinion out via this website. Dont be fooled by all the rhetoric, this is a political move to silence free speech which is a very dangerous path to go down.
Craigslist should remove its 'Erotic Services' listings. "Erotic Services" is another way of sayng "Prostitution", which exploits minors and women.
