Global warming cannot be stopped. It has to be an actual problem before it can be stopped. The climate on earth CAN fluctuate decade to decade. If we see a jump of say...20 degrees, we could probably worry. Gore's theory is a joke.
The U.S. government should increase the national gas mileage standard. Its unacceptable for them to allow crappy standards when the technology exists to extend mileage.
The U.S. should expand oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. We have to drill somewhere unless we want to spend entire paychecks on gas.
Global warming is not a problem primarily caused by humans; there is no conclusive evidence that the Earth is warming unnaturally. The earth has gone up a couple degrees? Wow. Imagine that, the temperature fluctuates a couple degrees over hundreds of years. I can't believe Gore got the Nobel Prize for this BS.
The government should regulate greenhouse-gas emissions. They should, but I'm not sure they can handle it at the moment.
The U.S. should allow drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Oil is more important than caribou. Unfortunately we don't have enough refineries if we tap into the Alaskan reserves.
The U.S. government should provide incentives for manufacturers to build fuel-efficient cars. Tax the crap out of their earnings until they deal with efficiency issues.
The benefits of recycling do not outweigh the costs. Especially in small towns, recycling programs can strangle the city's growth by taking much needed resources for a system that doesn't do a whole lot of good.
Al Gore should not win the Nobel Peace Prize. Uh huh...yeah right. Global warming is bs.
Global warming is not a problem that humans must take actions to address.
There is not a link between global warming and the rising intensity of natural disasters.
Racism was not a factor whatsoever in the government's response to Katrina.
The federal government should release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
