The decibel level of television commercials should be regulated. I thought they used to be regulated...?
Bloggers should be allowed to blog anonymously. Technically we already blog anonymously. We don't have to disclose much identifying information to create and maintain a blog.
The media is politically biased and generally leans to the Left.
XM and Sirius satellite radio should not be allowed to merge. There has to be competition, otherwise we'll get a monopoly that controls the prices.
There should be restrictions on advertisements for alcohol. Its irresponsible for companies to promote alcohol when they know underage viewers are watching.
Television news should not entertain as well as inform. We're adults, we should be capable of listening to information without needing to be entertained like little children.
The news media should not cover celebrities' personal lives. They are normal people just like us, we don't need to know whats going on in their life constantly.
Internet gambling should be banned. Its much easier to gamble on the internet. If you have to actually get up off your ass, go to the casino/convenience store/race park to gamble you might not be so inclined to gamble.
Web sites should not be held legally responsible for user-generated content. You can't possibly expect websites to be able to monitor every single word that a user writes every second of the day. Its not fair to punish the host site when its too hard to police illegal content.
There should not be a blogger code of conduct. Theres no need. Theres already unspoken rules that bloggers generally follow. Its common sense. If you visit a blog thats offensive, you don't have to go back.
Blogs are credible sources of news. Every source will be biased, but the general facts can be true.
The federal government should not regulate violence on television. Honestly, who gives a shit? This country has far more pressing issues then censoring TV even more.
Checkbook journalism is not an acceptable way to pursue news stories. Throwing money around for dibs on a story is bullshit.
Print newspapers will become obsolete. Its already happening. Mobile phones with internet access make it much more convenient.
The V-chip has not been effective. Its only effective if the parents/guardians use it.
Dunkin' Donuts should not have pulled the ad featuring Rachel Ray. Next they'll pull an ad for being "too American". Grow a thicker skin and quit complaining about a -scarf-.
There should be legal protection for celebrities who are frequent paparazzi targets. Or better yet, ban the Paparazzi.
The Vanity Fair photos featuring Miley Cyrus were appropriate. Omigod, you can see a shoulder blade! Get off your Amish island and spend your time worrying about real issues not trivial crap.
Journalists should not reveal the identities of anonymous sources who have misled them. Journalists should never have to reveal identities of anonymous sources unless it will help solve a criminal trial.
I regularly read blogs using an RSS reader.
Websites should allow anonymous comments. They only hide under the guise of anonymous if they know what they're saying is controversial and/or incorrect. Doesn't hurt anyone.
Bloggers should not be held responsible for comments posted on their blogs by others.
