Facebook is worth the $15 billion valuation implied by Microsoft's investment.

Whether it is or not (by any standard of measurement you wish to employ) the fact that some moron is willing to pay that much means it is probably worth more!

Oooh, Hella yes! In my opinion, they're getting a steal, it's a seamless merge that adds more dimensional benefits to Microsoft's platform than what Facebook is getting: technical know-how.

Facebook is not worth the $15 billion valuation implied by Microsoft's investment.

But it's Microsoft's money, and Bill Gates has more than that in his personal fortune, so if MS wants to blow that kind of dough on Facebook, who cares?
