There is no evidence of any kind of activity that could have been discovered to justify the invasion, justifying evidence has to be obtained PRIOR to invading.

Iraq did not have any significant ties to the 9/11 terrorists nor did Saddam Hussein possess WMDs, therefore he posed no immenent threat to the United States or its allies in the region.

I can conceive of subsequent evidence of some kind of activity that could have been discovered to justify the invasion.

The question is flawed. There WAS intel of Iraqi WMDs. The world, Congress, and even Clinton saw and believed it. The fact that the intel was skewed is where the finger-pointing should go.
