On 6/21/2007 Mike & Mike show, Golic takes his stand on Sosa:
Greenberg: Sammy Sosa, 600 home runs, he won an MVP, all the rest of that. Does he get into the Hall of Fame?....Golic, if you were a voter, would you vote him in? Golic: Yeah I'd vote him in. The writers weren't speaking up back in the day, but now all of a sudden its out there so they're gonna bash on 'em. I think its incredibly hypocritical. Its a steroid era. The NFL had a steroid era. They moved on.
