Cho said she understands why certain people don't want to take on the mantles that come with publicly addressing social and political issues, but that ignoring them provides no solutions either. "There's a number of people who are gay in this business who won't come out of the closet because they don't want to take up the activism involved in all that," she said. "It's too much for some artists to deal with."
