Race should not be a factor when assigning students to public schools. I thought the point of abolishing segregation would be to stop discrimination based on race.
Prayer should be permitted in public schools. Private prayer is not wrong. It is an individual's right to worship whatever religion they desire. We should respect that right unless their religion infringes upon our rights. (Which is rather rare.)
I rate America's education system "Unsatisfactory." Outside of our World Class Colleges and Universities, it is not good.
Abstinence-only sex education should not be taught in schools. This leads to unprotected sex. They are going to do it anyway so why not tell them how to do it safely. Those who choose to abstain should abstain. Not everyone will abstain so its right that we arm those who won't with the tools and knowledge they'll nee
Schools should not punish students for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Americans should take a stand against the forced reciting of mantras. Our forefathers would be against this indoctorination for sure.
