Ok I acknowledge my original argument was a little too extreme. He bears some responsibility. Violence is not an acceptable form of political action whether it's Molotov cocktails or gunshots.

Arlen Specter's switch to the Democratic Party will have a positive effect on his reelection campaign. At least he'll make it to the election, rather than being downed in his primary. The Republican party is shrinking in PA. His supporters have left to become independents or democrats. I don't blame him at all.

President Obama's first 100 days were satisfactory. Wonder how partisan these answers will be...
