The $825 billion stimulus price tag is sufficient.
Iraq will become a stable democracy.
The U.S. should unionize airport screeners.
The U.S. should not suspend military aid to Israel.
The U.S. should have diplomatic relations with Venezuela.
Infidelity should not be grounds for a politician's removal from office.
The Israeli/Palestinian peace process would not be more effective without the intervention of foreign nations.
Sarah Palin should not pursue political office again. I think current affairs show she should never have pursued one in the first place. You've got to have an incredibly thick skin for politics. I know I wouldn't have what it takes. Neither does Sarah.
Mitt Romney has the best chance at becoming the Republican Party's presidential nominee in 2012. He's got the best shot right now... that said, there's a ton of time between now and the election. I'm betting some unknown dark horse will emerge before then... even though the GOP tends to pick based on seniority.
Media outlets should use the word 'torture' when covering Bush-era detainee policies. Yup. That's what it was. That's what we should call it.
California's electoral votes should be divided by congressional district.
The proposed U.S. nulcear accord with India is in the best interests of America.
The Department of Homeland Security has not been effective.
Films have the power to effect social change.
The U.S. invasion and occupation has had a negative effect on Iraq.
Mark Sanford should resign as governor of South Carolina. Hmm, and just like that I change my mind... @brianr has the right argument. Forget the mistress... the guy was the chief exec of a state. Disappearing isn't an option.
Protests over the Iranian election will not lead to a revolution. People who really know about this stuff see it more as a Bush v. Gore scenario than some kind of precursor to revolution. Sorry neocons.
The Obama Administration should not issue a statement of support to the Iranian election uprising. right wingers, do you want the protests in Iran to succeed? Yes? Then why would it EVER be a good idea for the USA to officially endorse protesters, when that endorsement would be used as a tool to suppress them?
The international community should not recognize the Iranian election results. Not yet. Not until questions of fraud have been answered.
The U.S. military should accept recruits with criminal records.
The U.S. should allow online voting.
Puerto Rico should become a U.S. state. If they want to. Put it to a vote, let the Puerto Ricans decide.
Elected officials should be allowed to change their political affiliation between elections.
North Korea should be on the U.S. government's "State Sponsors of Terrorism" list.
Guantanamo Bay detainees should be moved to U.S. prisons. Not sure I understand the argument against this...
The Obama Administration will have a positive impact on the Middle East peace process.
Bill O'Reilly should bear responsibility for the murder of Dr. Tiller. BTW, whoever said legally responsible? What about personal responsibility, morals, and ethics? Ok I acknowledge my original argument was a little too extreme. He bears some responsibility. At some point we as a society have to hold those who preach hate responsible on the left and the right for the radicalization of political discourse in this country. Violence is not an acceptable form of political action whether it's Molotov cocktails or gunshots.
I support President Obama's message to the Muslim world.
Sonia Sotomayor is a good choice to replace Justice Souter.
Gen. Eric Shinseki was a good choice for Secretary of Veterans' Affairs.
Barack Obama should keep Robert Gates on as U.S. Secretary of Defense.
Assault weapons should be illegal.
Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012.
The U.S. should comply with the Geneva Conventions in the interrogation of suspected terrorists.
The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act is not constitutional.
The Republican Party should try to rebrand itself. More importantly, they need to re-philosophize. Reach out. Go back to the big tent. No one in the party seems to remember that the reason Reagan won was due to Reagan Democrats. He reached out. He didn't retreat into ideology or hide bound ideas.
Arlen Specter's switch to the Democratic Party will have a negative effect on the GOP. It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better. Small tent politics? Really?
Arlen Specter's switch to the Democratic Party will have a positive effect on his reelection campaign. At least he'll make it to the election, rather than being downed in his primary. The Republican party is shrinking in PA. His supporters have left to become independents or democrats. I don't blame him at all.
President Obama's first 100 days were satisfactory. Wonder how partisan these answers will be...
The U.S. should negotiate with Iraqi resistance leaders.
