Usain Bolt's three world records at the Beijing Olympics was the top sports moment of 2008. I'll go with Bolt, but Can I submit a write in? Samuel Wanjiru's win in the Olympic Marathon gets my vote. Just an unbelievable performance and he made it look easy.

The 2008 U.S. Men's Olympic basketball team is not better than the 1992 Dream Team. I didn't actually watch any basketball at this Olympics, but I had a Jordan USA hat back in 92, so I'm going with them.
