The benefits of recycling outweigh the costs.
Plastic grocery bags should not be banned. I don't mind if they ban plastic bags for non-food items. However, when it comes to produce and other foodstuff, I think those particular plastic bags are necessary. Also, I always reuse the ones I receive at the checkout. If more people weren't simply throwing them away after one-time use, then this wouldn't be nearly as much of an issue. And on a final note... paper bags always break on the way home. They're less sturdy. So, until a new alternative is developed, I'm going to say plastic bags should not be entirely banned yet.
Global warming cannot be stopped. This is not to say that the Earth's atmosphere and temperatures aren't changing exponentially. However, there is a lot of evidence that suggests the same is occurring on almost every other planet within the solar system. It's a natural phenomena that *mig

Expanded ethanol production will have a negative effect on the economy.
The U.S. should not allow drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. (ANWR).

I would say that there's enough evidence to confirm that as humans we play some part in the global warming effect. However, there are scientific trends seen in other planets that lead me to believe we're just expediting the process a little bit, but "we d
