The New York Yankees will win the 2009 World Series.
Mark Teixeira should win the 2009 American League MVP. Tough call, but I'm going with Teh-share-uh...
New York Giants will win the 2009 NFC East.
Baltimore Ravens will win the 2009 AFC North.
Indianapolis Colts will win the 2009 AFC South.
San Diego Chargers will win the 2009 AFC West.
New England Patriots will win the 2009 AFC East.
New Orleans Saints will win the 2009 NFC South.
Chicago Bears will win the 2009 NFC North.
Arizona Cardinals will win the 2009 NFC West.
Roger Federer will not win the 2009 U.S. Open Championship. I suspect the Andys will take him down on hard court.
Plaxico Burress' jail sentence was appropriate.
I like running on a treadmill.
I have never run a marathon.
I like running as a form of exercise.
Tiger Woods will not win the 2009 U.S. Open. I would love to see Lefty win another major. He's one of my favorite golfers to watch. It might have to do with all the anticipation build-up and inevitable let down. I'm a Mets fan, after all. However, this year would be a more sentimental win for Phil. GO LEFTY!
Orlando Magic will win the 2009 NBA Finals. ...going with the underdog...
Michael Vick should not be banned from the NFL. If the NFL were to ban Vick, then players who commit crimes and offenses directly against fellow people should also be banned. I'm not saying that what he did wasn't horrible, but I feel like someone should seriously consider start PETH (People for the Ethical Treatment of Humans) soon.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will win the 2009 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
The Denver Nuggets will win the 2009 NBA Western Conference Finals. Houston gave the Lakers a run for their money... a solid Nuggets team could easily pull off the upset.
The New York Yankees would not be better off without Alex Rodriguez.
The bike leg of a triathlon is most important for success. I'd have to say "bike" mainly because I know how my legs need adjustment time in the transition between strenuous, intense biking and running. However, if you pace the bike leg accordingly, you should be able to rebound quickly for the run.
Los Angeles Dodgers will win the 2009 NL West.
Chicago White Sox will win the 2009 AL Central.
New York Mets will win the 2009 NL East.
Chicago Cubs will win the 2009 NL Central.
Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will win the 2009 AL West.
Tampa Bay Devil Rays will win the 2009 AL East. The Rays want to prove 2008 wasn't a fluke. I think they will succeed in that. If the Yankees' improved pitching staff kicks in, they should handily snag the Wildcard.
The Denver Broncos should trade Jay Cutler.
Recreational skiers should be required to wear helmets. Better safe than sorry in the case of recreation. As we're learning the hard way, head trauma is never "minor".
Memphis did not deserve to be a top seed in the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. #2 is a better position for them... I think they'll have more success as a potential underdog.
The East is the toughest region in the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
Big East Conference will have the most wins in the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
University of Louisville will advance the furthest of all top seeds in the 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Terrell Owens will have a positive effect on the Buffalo Bills. I think he'll help more than he'll hurt. At the very least, he'll put some national media attention back on B-Lo's "pride"...
The Dallas Cowboys should not have released Terrell Owens. This is a tough one. I think removing him from the roster hurts more than it helps the Cowboys. At least the negative national media attention was directed mostly towards him (save an occasional story about the Tony Romo / Jessica Simpson thing)... this move could easily put more pressure on Romo in 2009 as the media keeps digging a grave for his career.
Tiger Woods will be as dominant in his return to the PGA Tour.
Hank Aaron should not be re-established as Major League Baseball's all-time home run king.
Joe Torre's memoir about his time with the New York Yankees is not appropriate.
USA Swimming should not have suspended Michael Phelps.
