Racial profiling should be used in security screenings.

This is very hard to admit, but if we don't take some common-sense steps, one of these days we won't be fortunate enough to prevent a tragedy.

Absolutely not. This was a politically motivated attempt to distance Obama from the Bush administration that could have serious security implications....

The U.S. is safer from terrorism today than it was before 9/11.

I think the evidence is fairly clear. A half-dozen or so attacks on US interests Sept. 11 or previous, nothing since. Something must be working.
