Fox News is "fair and balanced". As much as the other guys.
It is not appropriate for the President of the United States to make appearances on late night talk shows. It diminishes the office.
Diane Sawyer is a good replacement for Charles Gibson as anchor of ABC World News. Why not?
I prefer Facebook to Twitter. No question, its FB
"On The Record with Greta Van Susteren" is the best Fox News evening program. I think she clearly has the best mix of political and cultural news and sophisticated guests.
Brian Williams is the evening network news anchor I trust most. If I had to make a choice.
Facebook merits a higher valuation than MySpace.
I do feel secure using Craigslist for transactions. Extent of my experience on Craigslist is the buying and selling of Giants tickets. Never had a problem.
Craigslist should remove its 'Erotic Services' listings. I suppose. Really don't have much of an opinion since I don't frequent.
The Pulitzer Prizes are still relevant. Whether or not the public recognizes what paper or reporter wins a Pulitzer, the issue really is whether high-quality journalism, as embodied by the Pulitzers, is essential to our republic. I can think of no time when it has been more relevant.
Social networking web sites are not a fad. I would hope not. I think this is the future.
The Internet has had a negative effect on journalism. On balance, I think it's been a negative influence. The desire for Internet immediacy has changed journalistic priorities from "getting the story right" to "getting the story up first" to the detriment of the news-consuming public.
The New York Times' coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is balanced. For the most part, yes. Conspiracy theories aside, I think it would be hard to prove partiality.
President Obama's Tonight Show appearance will have a negative effect on him politically. That "Special Olympics" remark/joke will haunt him.
Jon Stewart's criticism of CNBC will not affect the way business news is covered. He's not that important.
CNBC is a credible financial news network.
Newspaper organizations are necessary to maintain journalistic standards.
Online news should not be free.
Television news should not entertain as well as inform.
NBC should have rejected PETA's Super Bowl advertisement. they certainly have the right, as a revenue-generating company, to reject whatever they believe would compromise their bottom line during Super Bowl telecast.
Newspapers should not be publicly financed. even if it costs me my job. Market forces must be allowed to work.
American news media coverage of the Gaza Crisis has been fair. If anything, it tilts Palestinian, but not significantly.
The government should not provide financial assistance to the print journalism industry. Even as my industry circles the drain, I hate the idea of a government bailout.
Any publisher of leaked information always should have the right to maintain the confidentiality of his source.
The media is politically biased and generally leans to the Left.
MSNBC is politically biased.
NBC's coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games was not satisfactory. Depends how we define satisfactory. It was decidedly tilted to an American audience, which makes perfect business sense, but its tape delays to the West Coast must have irritated its California audience. It turned a complete blind eye to the political com
Print newspapers will not become obsolete. As a proud member of the dead tree editors society, I have a hard time believing my medium will ever be totally irrelevant. What newspapers have to do is figure out a way to preserve their proprietary content while at the same time making it available to

UNKNOWN: Should TechCrunch have published internal Twitter documents leaked to them by a hacker?
