I do not believe in soulmates.

I do not enjoy cooking. I enjoy when someone else does the cooking while I relax and have a drink, and then eat once the food is ready.

A world without religion would be better. It would be a world free of the beliefs that have inspired the worst atrocities, a world where people would reason and think, and where fantastic claims without evidence would be openly rejected

I buy lottery tickets. Every once in a while, specially if the pot is large, and although the probabilities are very small, someone always wins.

Employers should not block personal e-mail access on company computers. I don't think its fair that employers block access to private e-mail accounts in company pc's, while expecting one to access one's work e-mail account away from the office using remote access (VPN) or blackberry. If they want to keep private life away from the office, then its just fair that work be kept away from private life.

Morality and religion absolutely should not play a role in public policymaking

Marijuana should be legal. Legalize it, tax it and use the income to finance educational programs. I don't think marijuana is worse than alcohol.

Homosexuality is not immoral. What does morality have to do with sexual preference?

Dogs are better pets than cats. I think Dogs are loyal while Cats are self interested (although Cats are easier to take care and are cleaner)

Racial discrimination is still a significant problem in America. It probably is, but its clearly becoming less and less over time.

It is not appropriate to talk on the phone while using a public restroom. And you don't even know who may be listening, so its not even wise to do so.

President Obama's statement about Henry Louis Gates, Jr.'s arrest was not appropriate. He probably over reacted and should have kept silent. But in the end, its not a major issue, so lets focus on more substantive issues.

Marijuana is not a gateway drug. Gateway to the munchies! I have the impression that there is much more consumption of marijuana than all the other drugs combined, and that fact in and of itself indicates that it is not.

Viewing pornography is not the equivalent of cheating.

Couples with kids are happier than those without. Hard to say, since one can only talk about one's own experience (either with or without kids) and perceptions about the happiness of others may be misleading. Although my experience with kids is relatively recent, I can clearly state without doubt that I am happily exhausted.

Couples should not celebrate Valentine's Day. No, this is a commercial trick to make people spend money. Couples should celebrate being together as often as they can (life is short).

References to God or religion should be left out of U.S. Presidential Inaugurations. We are not a theocracy, references to god should be kept inside the church (if they have to exist at all).

Schools should not teach Intelligent Design as a scientific theory.

Homosexuality is not a choice.

The government should not allow same-sex couples to adopt children.

Islam will become Europe's predominant religion. It seems unstoppable

Government funds should not be used for religious purposes.
