Buying a used conventional engine car is more environmentally friendly than buying a new hybrid. Replacing a car that is still on the road and usefull cant be better for the enviroment. You can buy an old Saturn sedan that will get 40 + mpg what will you get with the current hybrid ?
The U.S. should expand oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Drill that oil ! Who better to do it than us ? Would we rather let China sit off our shores and take it ? I say we should do it we need it and we are the best ones to do it.
Global warming is not a problem primarily caused by humans; there is no conclusive evidence that the Earth is warming unnaturally. Its still cold here in Alaska , matter of fact its been colder this summer than any summer i can remember since i was a kid in the 60's so what part of the earth is getting all the heat ? maybe you guys can send us some up here ? I have heard that over ha
The U.S. should allow drilling in Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Yes we have the technology now to do it without much enviromental impact, they can directional drill out like 6 miles from the rig ,they can do all the mobilization in the winter on ice roads they watch them now like hawks there's no good argument not to.
The U.S. cannot meet all of its energy demands within 10 years through carbon-free sources. of course not its gonna take time, T Boone Pickens has the right idea!
Congress should lift the ban on offshore oil drilling. drill here where it will be done inviromentally consciously
