Saving existing life is more important than protecting potential life.

This is a seriously loaded question. Because life is the most precious thing in the world, both are extremely important.

Scientists should experiment on animals.

I don't enjoy the idea of potentially harming animals, but it is certainly more important to make sure products and procedures are safe for humans. Human life is the most valuable.
