Insider trading should not be legalized. WHAT ?>12j3oi21j3 2;lk2
Competition is most responsible for the U.S. auto industry's financial problems.
The U.S. government should not change the size or texture of its banknotes. I don't really see a problem with banknotes the way they are. Do we really need to spend the resources to make this a reality?
Cell phone use should be permitted in-flight.
Supply and demand in the labor market should determine the pay rate for a given job.
The proposed 90% tax on AIG bonuses is constitutional.
I prefer beer to liquor and wine.
The U.S. government should not have given AIG more money.
General Motors (GM) will become a successful company again. They'll be juuussssst fine
Credit cards are my preferred method of payment. Why isn't PayPal an option?
I do not smoke cigarettes. It's bad for ya you know
Dunkin' Donuts brews a better-tasting coffee than Starbucks. I'm speaking soley on your average cup o' coffee. Not any of the fancy pants drinks. I firmly believe that people that think *$ tastes better are outright delusional. God Starbucks tastes so disgusting. It's offensive.
The Dow will not go below 6,000 in 2009.
Hurricane insurance should include water damage. I dumped a full Gatoraide bucket full of water (mistake) in the backseat of my car 5 or 6 yrs ago. That water sh!t does some damage. Include it!
All songs on iTunes should be the same price. And about $0.50 less for god sakes.
The Bush Administration is more responsible than the Obama Administration for the U.S. stock market decline in 2009. The stock market had already collapsed before Obama even got there. Come on!
The quality of Starbucks coffee does not merit the price. Starbucks coffee is by far the worst tasting coffee out there. I would rather have street coffee. And many times I do. So no I don't think it's justified.
AIG should be forced to reveal the names of executives that received bonuses. Yessss Yes, who are the bastards! Let's suck their blood!
I would feel secure renting an apartment online without third-party verification.
Legalization of marijuana would have no effect on the economy.
Capitalism is the most effective economic system.
Communities should not be allowed to print their own currency for use at local businesses. What is this hippie town USA?
Bed & Breakfasts offer tourists the best opportunity to experience the local lifestyle.
Location is the most important accommodation factor when traveling as a tourist. I just want to be close to it all ya know~!
There should be a global financial regulatory system. We are all hooked together somehow. We need to work together
Commercial airlines should serve peanuts. Yes, pass the peanut law now! Roasted! Honey Roasted!~
The U.S. unemployment rate will not reach double digits in 2009.
Race and ethnicity should not be a factor in hiring and promotion. This is a ridiculous question! If you are qualified for the job or have demonstrated excellent work performance, then the decision should be simple. What is this... the year 1950? Is it possible that anyone at all would question whether or not race/ethnicity should be a factor? Let's just play by the "don't be a dick" life rule. Don't be a dick and don't be racist.
Microsoft retail stores will effectively compete with Apple. MS$ is generally more affordable. Not everyone wants to pay $1100 for a small laptop.
It is not appropriate to market VitaminWater as a healthy alternative to soft drinks.
Congress should tax AIG bonuses. JERKS
The U.S. dollar should be the world's reserve currency. Sure Why not! Would make my life easier right? !?
Public investment should have a higher priority than tax cuts in Barack Obama's stimulus package.
The government should regulate salaries of companies who have received bailout funds. It is insane to think that the people in power of these companies have been using large sums of bailout funds to increase their own salary. Maddening even!
The MTA fare hikes are not justified. There is absolutely no sane way to justify the MTA fare hikes. nearly 25% increase in fares across the board, service is being cut on train and bus lines. Families will be spending ~$100 more a month. How can NY put the responsibility of keeping the MTA afloat on the riders. We need to be encouraging public transportation. This will only make things worse. Less people will ride, less people will buy monthly passes. This is bad news all around. There are and have been far better plans that have been proposed. This is the absolute worst case scenario. All this coming from a guy who has most of his transit card paid for by his company. Not everyone is as fortunate.
JetBlue is the low-cost U.S. airline I prefer to fly with. I don't fly often but was very impressed a year ago when I flew JetBlue. Loved that I had 50+ TV channels right at my seat.
Pepsi's new logo is better. I miss the old one a bit, but I like the new one. It's slick and appealing. When I see it I want to try drinking whatever is inside, even though it ends up tasting the same in the end.
Yahoo! should not have accepted Microsoft's bid.
Facebook is worth the $15 billion valuation implied by Microsoft's investment. that site has limitless potential
Apartments should be rent-regulated. NYC realty organizations are the definitions of pure evil
