MSNBC is politically biased.
Al Jazeera is a credible news organization.
I prefer Facebook to Twitter. I don't consider Twitter social networking
NBC should not have rejected PETA's Super Bowl advertisement.
Charles Gibson is the evening network news anchor I trust most.
Twitter is not a fad. It's already being integrated into every major website, eCommerce site, news outlet. This should have been a question 2 yrs ago when hardly anyone was using it. It's past the point of fad.
Jon Stewart's criticism of CNBC was appropriate.
The Wall Street Journal has the best daily financial coverage.
CNBC is not a credible financial news network.
Public broadcasting is not the most reliable source for television and radio news. Internetz, LOL Cats
The Internet has had a positive effect on journalism.
I do feel secure using Craigslist for transactions. You have to be smart. I try to avoid in person transactions and always suggest paypal.
"The O'Reilly Factor" is the best Fox News evening program. O'Reilly is so blatantly out of his mind, contradictory, spewing hate... that watching it is similar to a car wreck. You just can't look away.
Craigslist should not remove its 'Erotic Services' listings. But there is so much hilarious material in there. Craigslist provides a disclaimer, it's clear, it's legal. There are a million other sites that have something similar.
Social networking web sites are not a fad. Social Networking sites are evolving to be more than just outlets for social networking. They are integrating blogging / microblogging / picture / video and so much more. The integration of so many technologies as time goes on will keep these sites fresh and on top of the "internet game"
Hulu merits a higher valuation than YouTube. hands down
Google should attempt to acquire Twitter. I wouldn't be against it, Google has made noticeable improvements to other things they have taken over. YouTube is a great example of the advancement that is possible when Google has invested into something.
The New York Post's chimpanzee cartoon is racist. Yeahhhhh, I'm all about pushin the boundaries and all. But even I thought that was pretty bad.
National evening news broadcasts should not expand to an hour-long format. * snooze....... BORING. Challenge our news broadcasts to have better more informative content that is straight to the point rather then the BS it usually airs.
Twitter does not promote narcissism. You don't "friend" people on Twitter. You "follow" them. In this format, no one is obligated to have to follow a person back. As a user you only see what you want to see. As a result, it forces users to be more productive with what they post. Also it's a great way to follow deals on your favorite online shopping sites, news feeds, etc.
Jon Stewart's criticism of CNBC will not affect the way business news is covered. I think they (CNBC) will bank on everyone forgetting about it in a week.
It is appropriate for the President of the United States to make appearances on late night talk shows. I lean towards yes but I'm not sure why. I could be convinced otherwise I guess.
Online news should be free. There are too many publications online that already publish for free. Anybody that tries will get crushed in the competition. There are other ways to fund websites
Web sites should not be held legally responsible for user-generated content.
It should not be illegal for convicted sex offenders to take part in public Internet forums.
I know about RSS reader but choose not to use it.
Reality television has had a negative impact on the quality of programming. The only good reality TV was the real world in the early 90's.
Any publisher of leaked information always should have the right to maintain the confidentiality of his source.
Laws allowing journalists to protect confidential sources should apply to bloggers.
Bloggers should not be held responsible for comments posted on their blogs by others.
There should not be restrictions on advertisements for alcohol.
The FCC should not strengthen indecency rules regarding broadcast television.
The Wall Street Journal should move to a free online model. yeah, it's impractical to charge for internet site access these days. there's other ways to generate revenue over the web
Fox News is not "fair and balanced." although not many "news" stations are
Websites should allow anonymous comments. of course, but then again this should be up to the website. not any kind of regulation.
Tim Russert's death did merit the media coverage it received.
Facebook merits a higher valuation than MySpace.
The new Facebook user interface is better than the old. The new is better by far. It's faster, more efficient, wider feature set and whether people know it or not right now more intuitive. The end user always complains with a UI overhaul, everyone will end up liking this new site better in the end. It's "sl
The media does not have a social responsibility to promote positive body images. I'm so fat!
Television news should not entertain as well as inform. "Entertaining" television news is exactly why so many Americans are so paranoid about everything.
