It was a good decision for NBC to move Jay Leno to primetime. It was a good decision for him. Doesn't mean he's not a d'bag for doing so, because he certainly is.
A small budget makes for a better horror film. big budget movies are becoming too predictable
I enjoy traveling.
The celebrity version is better than 'The Apprentice'.
Successful artists should follow Radiohead's 'pay-what-you-want' model. That was awesome and I think they'd be surprised on how generous the fans can be if the work is good.
I like sports movies. I love a good sports movie... I even like a bad sports movie. I'm really a sucker for any kind of motivational speech. I'll sink as low to say that I think Little Big League is a fun movie.
George is the funniest main character on "Seinfeld". This is very hard for me to pick. But George is such a horrible yet lovable person. I can't help but think that Jason Alexander is the most hilarious on the show.
Joaquin Phoenix's rap career is a hoax.
"Thriller" is Michael Jackson's best studio album.
Cosmetic procedures have a negative impact on an actor's career. For me at least...
Michael Jackson's death merits the media coverage it received.
Bruce Springsteen's Super Bowl XLIII halftime performance was good.
Grateful Dead is a better jam band than Phish. I hate Phish
The American version of 'The Office' is better than the British version.
Hugh Jackman was good as host of the 2009 Oscars.
John Lennon was the best songwriter for The Beatles.
Conan O'Brien is the best late night broadcast host.
Michael Jackson's personal life will not tarnish his musical legacy. Largely no. I think it may be a footnote but he was found Not Guilty and his music will and has already lasted the test of time.
Michael Jackson is the most influential pop music icon of all time. I almost said no but I honestly can't think of anybody in the history of Pop music that is even close in terms of being influential.
'Angels and Demons' is not anti-Catholic.
I prefer Jon Stewart to Stephen Colbert.
Chris Brown is hurt more by the public fallout of the relationship. After seeing the pictures of Rihanna, there is not one self respecting man, woman or child in this country that wouldn't pass up on the chance to kick Chris Brown in the nuts repeatedly.
There should not be a 'Three Stooges' feature film. * sigh *, I'm skeptical
'Reservoir Dogs' is the best Quentin Tarantino directed film.
'Watchmen' is a better Zack Snyder film than '300'.
'Seinfeld' is a better show than 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'. This is extremely difficult for me. My first reaction was to say Curb because in it Larry can write to his full potential without the boundaries of network television and commercials. After thinking about it though, Seinfeld is absolute perfection. The format of network television forced the writing to hit the comedic games quickly while still exploring separate story lines only to come together at the end in unpredictable hilarious ways. Both amazing shows though.
Nirvana was the best grunge band of the 90's. Clearly had the most influence on the genre.
Phil Collins has had a better career than Peter Gabriel.
Graphic novels should be considered literature.
The young female stars of '90210' are not too thin. although, i agree, we need some variety
A movie trailer should reveal no more than is necessary to convince audiences to see the film.
The best way to objectively review movies is a rating scale that does not measure degrees, e.g., "Recommend", "Neutral", "Reject", or thumbs up, down, and to the side.
Saturday Night Live's depiction of David Paterson is appropriate.
It is acceptable for directors to present altered versions of historical events. Its fun to pretend life has more explosions and general stereotypes right?
Art depicting religious figures in an offensive manner should not be censored. Well it shouldn't be out in elementary school hallways... but you know sometimes it's hilarious to see Jesus wear jumbo sun glasses and a funny hat.
Musicians should not refrain from cursing on stage.
Albums are becoming obsolete. too many artists are going solely for the hit single
Art should be defined. I got yelled at when visiting the Guggenheim. Apparently the box I was leaning on was a major exhibit by a well known artist.
Awards are not a valid measure of a film's worth.
Congress should not guarantee permanent funding to the Public Broadcasting Service. although PBS does a good job at pulling at those heart strings
