"Obama wisely chose Biden to solidify his points of potential weakness on national security and foreign affairs"

Chicago Tribune (editorial):

Obama wisely chose Biden to solidify his points of potential weakness on national security and foreign affairs. McCain, as the leader of the ticket, figures he already has the experience Biden brings to the Democratic ticket. McCain instead needs to corral conservatives and also those Hillaryites: They're a big presence in the 8.5 percent of Americans who haven't yet settled on Obama or McCain.
