The U.S. should negotiate with Iran directly.

What have we achieved the last 8 years by not talking and counter-threatening them? We negotiate with Kim Jong Il, who has hundreds of thousands of prisoners in concentration camps, but somehow the theocrats in Iran are worse? What, the Iranians have no interests whatsoever, so they can't be talked to? What about the fact they helped us topple the Taliban?
