Based on the information available at the time of the invasion of Iraq, it was not justified.

The invasion of Iraq was not lawful in consideration of the treaties signed by the United States and including the Charter of the United Nations - at least one applicable law or treaty was violated by the invasion.
The media portray war protesters unfairly.
