The No Child Left Behind Act has not been effective.
It is not acceptable for courses on the Bible to be taught in public schools. Unless they are literature classes, dealing specifically with sacred texts -- which is really more college material, anyway.
States should not be forced to fund the federally mandated No Child Left Behind Act. NCLB is a failure and needs to be repealed.
Schools should not punish students for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
Abstinence-only sex education should not be taught in schools.
High school students should not be required to pass an exit exam in order to earn a diploma. Every class in every high school has its own exam, that must be passed in order to advance. We need not necessarily add one more layer of requirements for graduation.
