Call centers should be required to disclose the physical location of their employees.

Government should regulate wages.

Most poor people are workers. Wages are already too low for many working people to subsist. If government does not regulate wages, employers will set them even lower.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

Unions should be permitted to strike.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

Vice President Dick Cheney should be impeached.

Impeaching Bush without impeaching Cheney would be dangerous. It could conceivably result in a scenario wherein the most evil human being in this modern world ascended to the Oval Office

Schools should not punish students for not reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

Military experience is not an important qualification for the presidency.

I vote based upon the issues and positions, not the resume.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

Abstinence-only sex education should not be taught in schools.

8/3/2008 7:07:12 PM

Christianity is in decline.

Modern Christianity is now not so much a belief system as a political machine.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

Scientists should not pursue embryonic stem cell research.

Stem cells have now been successfully harvested from other sources, such as skin and fat cells. There is no longer a need to obtain them from embryos.

Alan Augustson took a stand.

The Constitution should not be amended to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman.

The US Government has no business in the bedrooms of its people.
