Anthony O. Scott (born July 10, 1966) is a film critic for The New York Times newspaper. He began his tenure at the paper's Arts section in January 2000, following Janet Maslin's retirement. Before joining The Times, Scott was a book critic for Newsday as well as a contributor to the New York Review
