I find it ironic that a mayor who skirted well-established NYC laws in politicking himself into a third term is now going all law-and-order on an idiot like Burress.

What would be argument against him going to jail? First-time offender?

this may boil down to a second amendment issue, but a lot is being said about Bloomberg's harsh comments about throwing the book at Plax.

But what about the hell is with NYC Mayor Mike Bloomberg? Though he’s done a fine job running Manhattan for the last few years, why’d he trash Burress yesterday?

 

“Our children are getting killed with guns in the street. Our police are getting killed,” the furious mayor said in demanding Burress get no special treatment for his alleged crime and coverup. “I think it would be an outrage if we didn’t prosecute to the fullest extent of the law.”
