I just hate the word "satisfactory" here... but I'll concede for whatever the public will is...
"good job" kind of stinks. I'm okay either way, I guess.
Was NBC's coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games satisfactory?
Has NBC's coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games been satisfactory?
fine with me
Yes, but the problem with "satisfactory" is that it's even more subjective than "good" versus "bad"... since we have "Is Joseph Biden a good choice..." why can't we just ask "Did NBC do a good job with its coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games?" Sorry for the gratuitous overquoting.
yeah, I wasn't big on 'satisfactory' when I worded it, but so far all the sample PF evidence would fit a position.
I'm not sure we should get into offering stands for every possible emotion. It could be a little easier posting evidence for satisfactory or not.
Mark Selfe of Red Herring: NBC's Dual Olympic Coverage is a Win-Win
Absolutely an issue... I think satisfactory is touchy though... if someone says "mediocre" how do you count it?
How did NBC do with its coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games? -A good job ("NBC did a good job...") -A poor job ("NBC did a poor job...")
We could add a middle of the road response too... but could that then be "satisfactory" or "a fair job"... I'm not sure.
