Archived: Will Ryan Hall medal in the Men's Marathon at the 2008 Beijing Olympics?

Sounds good. Runners World says he will medal, SI is saying he won't, so it sounds like a good debate. Let's approve.

Big article about him in the New Yorker.  (Evidently the heat is a factor for Africans -- seems counterintuitive but the elite ones tend to come from/ train in the mountains.)  (Same with Hall.)

RW picked him to win silver. I didn't realize this, but a Kenyan has never won an Olympic marathon gold and africans traditionally run badly at this race..increasing his chances of wininng a medal.
