We already have an approved issue in this topic asking if we should go to war with Iran over the nuclear weapons issue. I guess there could be a companion issue to that, asking if we WILL go to war over the issue, but in that case this issue should be reworded to parallel the other. If this is asking simply if we will wind up going to war with them over any issue, not the weapons in particular, I think its value is much more limited. It's got to be tied to some kind of contemporary concern, whether it's military/economic strategy, confronting radical Islam, sprinkling the pixie dust of democracy on our Middle Eastern brethren, etc. Because if the world survives long enough, we'll probably go to war with just about everybody at some point. It's moot.

Something about this question is weird. Sort of seems like a question that wouldn't foster any real debate, not sure though. Some people will say yes, some people will say no, but it'll be hard to reach any meaningful conclusion.
To paraphrase Donovan:
A: I think the US will invade Iraq
B: I don't think the US will invade Iraq
A: Well I do
B: Well I don't
If Iran is found to be making nuclear weapons, is it in the best interests of the U.S. to disarm them by any means?
