Good issue! I think we can leave it at "Should women's softball be reinstated in the 2012 Olympics?" or maybe "Should women's softball be included...?" if that will net more public figure evidence.

The US Women's Olympic Softball team has won all three gold medals in which they've competed. An Olympic committee consisting mostly of European countries voted out the sport for the 2012 Olympics. Perhaps they're tired of losing to the Americans? Softball is extremely popular in the Americas, Canada, and Asia. I think that's a large enough percentage of the world's population to be considered important. There's a petition available to sign to ask that this great sport be reinstated in the 2012 Olympics. I hope you'll sign it.
