I agree with esperanto. I doubt the US government will be importing (prescription) drugs any time soon, but what they might do is allow individuals to purchase cheaper drugs from Canada. Not likely, but it might help in wording this question. How about:"Should the US allow people to buy prescription drugs from Canada?"
This actually confuses me a little. Would the US government itself be importing drugs? I'd think not, which means the question is either, Should US companies be allowed to import and sell drugs from Canada, or Should Americans be allowed to purchase Canadian drugs? Or both.

I'm ok with the question as worded and would like to see some drug discussion, but I am also wondering if it would be possible to have a sub-question if people answer no (or maybe this is a whole other question altogether) of "If the US gov't does not import drugs from Canada, should individual US citizens have the right to purchase drugs from Canada themselves?"
i'm kind of digging this question. unfortunately, i am not well informed on prescription drug coverage so i am not entirely certain that importing from canada will solve the problems in the US but my guess would be yes. anyway, the issue is concise, and it invites discussion. i'm fine with it as is. how do the rest of you feel???
