    I think this is a great question too, though I have
    say I think speculation about the economy is also valuable, or at least valid.  The US economy is based on speculation.

    Anyway, what about a focus on the federal minimum wage?  Perhaps "Should the federal minimum wage be raised above the current $5.15/hour?"

    Esperanto's is a good point about the different types of minimum wage.  I think this is a great question, though.  I think it makes a lot more sense to have questions like this, listed under 'US economy,' than to have questions that ask for people to speculate about the US economy itself.

    The perennial debate... only issue for me is the distinction between state and federal minimum wage, but I don't know how important that really is here.
