I like "greatest Super Bowl game ever." (Because it wasn't. It wasn't even close. The first three quarters were horrendously bad football. The fourth was great, though.)

I don't think "greatest upset" is much of a debate. I agree with Jonathan that we should go with "greatest Super Bowl game."

"Greatest game in Super Bowl history" looks like the way to go...
What about:
Was Super Bowl XLII the greatest game in Super Bowl history?
This guy says 'no', it wasn't the greates upset, but says 'yes', it was the greatest game:
Whether you're a Patriots or Giants fan, or just a football fan, we just watched the greatest Super Bowl that's ever been played. ....only to be topped by a Giants touchdown drive that completes the second biggest-upset in Super Bowl history (ranking only behind the Jets win over the Colts in Super Bowl III).

Mike Celizic agree:
GLENDALE, Ariz. - Greatest Super Bowl ever. There have been bigger upsets, including the Patriots’ victory over the Rams in the 2002 Super Bowl.

Is there enough for two different issues?
yeah, my bad. I made an edit.
How's 'Super Bowl History' sound?
This could get tricky -- Gene wojciechowski says its not the greatest upset of all time but doesn't specify if he's talking about just the Super Bowl...or greatest upset, period.
Also, I'm seeing a ot of evidence from people simply calling it "one of the greatest"
I think we should clarify it a bit as well.
Because there are two ways to go, and maybe two different issues to propose, one of them under "NFL" and the other just under "Sports."
A) Was the New York Giants defeat of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII the greatest upset in Super Bowl history?
or
B) Was the New York Giants defeat of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII the greatest upset in championship game history?
Obviously, one only pertains to the Super Bowl itself, while the other pertains to all championship games, i.e. the BCS Championship.

Some are calling it one of the greatest upsets in sports, but maybe we should qualify it by saying "NFL upset"?
